Jelly Roll Botox® Pre & Post-Care Instructions
Following proper care before and after your treatment ensures the best possible results.
Pre-Care Instructions:
- Alcohol should be prohibited 24 hours before your appointment to reduce swelling and bruising.
- Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) for 24 hours prior, unless prescribed by your doctor.
- Come to your appointment with clean skin, free from makeup and skincare products.
- Inform your injector of any recent Botox® treatments or planned procedures in the under-eye area.
Post-Care Instructions:
- Be sure not to rub, massage, or apply pressure to the area under the eyes for at least 24 hours.
- Do not lie flat for 4 hours after treatment to ensure the product is properly placed.
- Skip strenuous activities, saunas, or hot tubs for the rest of the day.
- You may apply a cool compress gently if needed for minor swelling or discomfort.
- Follow all recommendations provided by your injector for the best outcome.
