- Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and anti-inflammatory medications 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to minimize the risk of bruising.
- Refrain from using retinol or exfoliating skincare products on the treatment area for three days prior.
- Keep hydrated and follow a balanced diet to prime your skin for treatment.
- Share details about your medications, supplements, and medical conditions with your provider during the consultation.
- Cleanse your skin thoroughly and avoid applying makeup or lotions on the day of your appointment.
- Schedule your treatment at least two weeks before important events to allow full results to develop.
Jeuveau® Post-Care Instructions:
- Avoid lying down for at least 4 hours after treatment to ensure optimal placement of Jeuveau®.
- Do not touch, rub, or apply pressure to the treated area for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid strenuous activities or exercise for 24 hours to reduce the risk of inflammation, swelling, or bruising.
- Protect the treated area by avoiding direct sunlight, saunas, and hot showers for 24-48 hours.
- Use a mild cleanser and moisturizer to keep the treated area healthy and hydrated.
- Wait a minimum of one full day-night cycle before applying makeup or beauty products to avoid contamination.
