RHA® 3 Pre & Post-Care Instructions
To achieve the best results from your RHA® 3 treatment, please follow these simple care instructions:
Pre-Care Instructions:
- Minimize bruising by not taking blood-thinning medications 24 hours before the procedure.
- Arrive with clean skin—no makeup, lotions, or SPF on the treatment area.
- Inform your provider of any recent cosmetic treatments, allergies, or medications.
Post-Care Instructions:
- Apply a cold compress gently if needed to minimize swelling or bruising.
- Treated areas should not be touched, massaged, or applied pressure for 24 hours to settle the filler properly.
- Do not engage in strenuous activity, sun exposure, or heat (like saunas or hot tubs) for 24 to 48 hours.
- Sleep on your back with your head elevated the first night to reduce swelling.
- Apply SPF daily to protect your skin and prolong results.
