Kybella® for Body Pre and Post-Care Instructions

Pre-Care Instructions:
- To minimize swelling, please avoid all alcohol and caffeine for the 24 hours before your treatment
- Refrain from blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E for 24 hours unless prescribed by your physician.
- Stay hydrated before your appointment.
- Arrive with clean, lotion-free skin.
- Just wear loose, comfortable clothes; it makes treating the area much easier.
Post-Care Instructions:
- Apply a cool compress intermittently for the first few hours to minimize swelling or tenderness.
- Avoid strenuous activity, saunas, or hot tubs for 24–48 hours.
- Keep the treated area free from massage or pressure for at least 48 hours.
- Keep the area elevated when possible to help reduce swelling.
