How Does Dysport® Work?
Dysport® Pre & Post-Care Instructions
Dysport® Pre-Care Instructions:
- Refrain from alcohol for 24 hours and avoid anti-inflammatory medications (such as Ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin, fish oil, and St. John's Wort) for 7 to 10 days before your appointment.
- Sustain a healthy lifestyle by staying hydrated and following a balanced diet to prepare your skin for the treatment.
- During your session, provide comprehensive information about your current medications, supplements, and any existing medical conditions.
- On the day of your appointment, ensure your skin is thoroughly cleansed and totally free of any makeup or lotions.
- To allow for optimal results and any necessary adjustments, schedule your treatment a minimum of six weeks before any significant events.
Dysport® Post-Care Instructions:
- For the first 4 hours following your treatment, refrain from touching, rubbing, or applying pressure to the treated area.
- Protect the treated area from direct sunlight, saunas, and hot showers for 12 hours.
- Maintain the health and hydration of the treated area by using a gentle cleanser and moisturizer.
- To prevent contamination, wait at least 12 hours before applying any makeup or beauty products to the treated area.
